1. Uneven door and window profiles:

The important reason for the air leakage of doors and windows is the tightness between the door and window sash and the frame, and the important factor affecting the tightness is the flatness of the profile. If the flatness of the profile is not enough or is deformed, there will be a certain gap between the door and window sash and the frame. , causing air leakage.

2. The quality of the sealing strip is inferior or aging:

The sealing strip is the key to the sealing of doors and windows. High-quality sealing strips have strong toughness, wear resistance, and rebound rate and are not easy to break.
The inferior sealing strip is very fragile, easy to corrode and break, and cannot achieve the sealing effect. If the sealing strip is not installed properly, there is unevenness or bulging, then air leakage is inevitable.

3. There are cracks between the frame and the wall:

During the installation of doors and windows, many door and window workers did not do a good job of sealing between door frames, window frames, and walls due to rushing or cutting corners
If the waterproof glue is not applied evenly, the sealant is not done enough, or the expansion bolts are not nailed down, it will make the frame and the wall unable to "tightly fit" and cause air leakage.

4. The hardware lock is not strong:

The quality of the door and window hardware is also closely related to the sealing performance. At present, the best lock points on the market are the upper, middle, and lower lock points. Hinged or sliding brace fit.

Together, a strong sealing pressure is generated, which makes the sealing strip elastically deform so as to provide sufficient sealing performance for the doors and windows. Therefore, the hardware with weak locking will greatly reduce the sealing performance of the doors and windows.
